Westerdam

A short post today, as it's a transition day. Another wonderful breakfast at the Fullerton, I had the Laksa again. Then Karen and I went for a short walk over to Raffles hotel (about 45 minutes roundtrip). A nice walk mainly through park. Then we packed up an organized ourselves to transition to the cruise.

We booked a car to take us to the cruise terminal after checkout at noon. The ride only takes about 15 minutes. The cruise terminal was very busy, and it took about an hour to go through the various procedures and board the ship. We had a snack and a drink then went to unpack. About this time the skies opened, and the rain bucketed down. I didn't realize until I finished my unpacking and saw the pools of water everywhere!. Less than an hour later the rain was over, and it was fairly clear for sail away.

We're on early dining, and had a nice dinner featuring Singapore Chili Shrimp. Not hot at all, a lovely flavour. Afterwards we had a drink and listened to some music, but an early night is in order after a not so great sleep, and an early start tomorrow.
